2/23/26 Nicaragua – Monday – The Fifth Day

I wish I could say that alot happened on Monday, it did for some others, but my sinus infection had me down for the count. I started to take some sinus medication which of course just about knocked me out.

Some Christians insist there is no such thing as a need for doctors or medications, but scripture says otherwise, and I have provided a teaching post on Natural Healing regarding this.

  • Galatians 4:13-14 ESV – 13 You know it was because of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you at first, 14 and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.
  • Philippians 2:25-27 NIV – 25 But I think it is necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, co-worker and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger, whom you sent to take care of my needs. 26 For he longs for all of you and is distressed because you heard he was ill. 27 Indeed he was ill, and almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.

So here I was to proclaim the Kingdom through salvation, healing, and deliverance, but could barely get out of bed.

So I just rested and slept. I was scheduled to preach at church the next day, so I just took the time to study when I could to prepare to share the good news of the Kingdom.

The Hostal del Pacifico had a very nice lobby and open air coffee area.

It is a very affordable, clean place to stay. As you can see they were in the process of remodling and painting while we were there. It may lack in ammendities but it makes up for with price and service.
