2/25/26 Nicaragua – Wednesday – The Seventh Day

I redited my post as I realized that I mixed up my days.

On any mission trip, not only does sickness occur, but also transportation problems happen. We were scheduled to go to a new city and church for the first time, and both vehicles used to transport us broke down! We gladly helped with any repair costs to our drivers as they willingly took the time to use their personal vehicles to drive us. (We also were very careful to make sure they were paid for their time as well).

We met with the staff of our host church in the evening instead. We had a time of prayer for each other in our group and those who served the church.

After being prayed for yet again, my sinus infection cleared up, and my energy was restored.

I do not know why I was healed today and not earlier, but I am grateful that I was. As quickly as my sickness set in, it cleared up just as fast.

I am not one to believe that God had a purpose for me to be sick, but while I was sick, I took the time to rest and prepare for other parts of the trip.

I am always being reminded by my friend Terry, ¨Some things are just a mystery.¨
